Rukhsar Makeup: || M.A.C Studio Sculpt Foundation Review ||

Before this foundation I had never really bought anything from MAC and the only reason I decided to try this foundation was because my cousin did my makeup and she used this foundation on me, I absolutely loved how it made my skin look and I decided that I really need to buy this.

So I popped over to my nearest MAC counter and had myself colour matched, I was matched to the shade NC44. I bought this foundation towards the beginning of 2013 (sometime in January) and I have been using this nearly everyday since. It is a medium to full coverage foundation, it really evens out your skintone and doesn't feel heavy on the skin. When I purchased this foundation, my skin was going through a dry phase and I had dry patches all over my cheeks and forehead and around my nose, when I applied this to my skin it did not cling to any of my dry patches, it smoothed over them and did not make them stand out. My favourite way to apply this foundation is either with the Real Techniques Buffing brush or the Expert face brush and lately I have been applying it using a beauty blending sponge.

I think that this foundation is perfect for anyone with dry/combination skin, but this past month my skin has gotten really oily especially around my t-zone and this foundation doesn't look so great anymore. It still applies the same way and makes my skin look really smooth but my face starts to look really oily within a couple of hours and I am constantly having to powder it.

So if you have dry skin I would definitely recommend this foundation but if you have oily skin I would suggest that you stay away from this and try something else. Personally I don't mind having to powder my face every couple of hours and I would definitely repurchase it.
