Coty Airspun Translucent Face Powder - Review

So after seeing a lot of Youtube beauty gurus rave about this setting powder for such a long time, I decided I had to try it out for myself! I purchased mine off Amazon in the shade translucent, which is the original shade, there are however a few more shades available in this powder. The other colours available are; Translucent Extra Coverage, Honey Beige and Suntan, and these shades unlike the original will add a bit of extra coverage/colour to your base when applied.

Superdrug Vitamin E Facial Mist - Review

Hey Guys! Just a quick review today on the Superdrug Vitamin E facial mist, now I've been using this mist for quite a while now and I've gone through many bottles of this stuff. There's been a lot of hype around this product on instagram lately, with some people saying they love it and others saying it's causing them to break out in little bumps, so I thought I'd just throw in my own review on why I love this product and what I use it for.

When I first started using this product it was labelled as a 'Refreshing Toning Mist' but it looks like Superdrug have recently re-labelled it as a 'Hydrating Mist', not sure of the reason for the name change but it is definitely still the same product.

I like to use this before and after doing my makeup, I spray it onto my face straight after I wash it, before I apply any other skincare and let it sink into my skin and it really helps make my skin appear more dewy and hydrated. I'll then apply the rest of my skincare and do my makeup, once I've finished applying my makeup I'll spritz this all over my face again to get rid of any 'powdery-ness', it really helps settle the products into the skin, making the base makeup look less cakey and it also leaves a really dewy finish to the skin so you look extra glowy!

Kiko Haul

Hey guys, just a quick post to show you some things I picked up from Kiko a few days ago. I was just walking past my local store when I saw that they had a sale on so I decided to pop in and see if there was anything I might like.

NYX Eyeshadow Base - Review

Hey, guys just a quick review today on the NYX eyeshadow base. I picked this up on a whim a few months ago, I'd been on the hunt for a flesh toned eyeshadow base (other than MAC soft ocre) for a while, so when I saw this in Boots I decided to pick it and give it a try. The product comes in a plastic jar with a screw top lid, which is quite lightweight and doesn't take up much space in my makeup drawers, and you get around 7g/0.25oz of product.

Favourite Drugstore Foundation & Primer - Maybelline Fit Me Matte+Poreless

Hi guys, today's review is on my all time favourite drugstore Foundation and Primer. I've always found it difficult to get a great colour match when it comes to drugstore foundations, back when I was in college I would just grab whatever shade I thought matched me and went with it (not the smartest move to be honest), and let me just say it did not look good. The foundations were never dark enough or they didn't have the right undertones for my complexion and I was always left looking a little grey - I'd then try to fix this by applying bronzer all over my face - it was a mess guys it was actually a mess.

But then I came across the Maybelline Fit Me foundation - the original one - and I think it was the first time I found a drugstore foundation that actually matched my skin! I was in love, this foundation worked pretty well for me at the time because my skin was going through a dry phase - the best thing about this was that it didn't cling to any dry patches and left me skin with a dewy finish. But my skin started changing and became less dry and more oily/combination and I felt that this foundation just wasn't working for me anymore, so I bit the bullet and got colour matched at MAC and bought the Studio Fix Fluid - which has become one of my holy grail foundations and something  I have repurchased multiple times. But I was still on the lookout for another drugstore foundation that matched me as well as the Fit Me.

Favourite Drugstore/Affordable Cream Contour Products

Hi guys, today's post is all about my favourite cream contouring products at the moment. All the products mentioned in this post are all fairly affordable, nothing high end (I will however be doing a post reviewing my favourite high end contouring products at some point so keep an eye out for that).

Essence Cosmetics £10 Makeup look

So the lovely ladies over at Flipside PR set me a challenge to create a makeup look for £10 using Essence products and I happily accepted. I'm a regular user of essence products and their Lashes Go Wild Mascara is a firm favourite, I use it everyday and I'm now running out, but whenever I go to pick up a new one it's always out of stock, which just goes to show I'm not the only one who thinks it's amazing! Their lipliners and blushers are also firm favourites (I've got quite a few reviews coming up so keep your eyes open for those) and everything is so affordable - which is great if you're just starting out with makeup/you're on a budget.

Now I did want to do my whole face using essence products but unfortunately their foundations are slightly too light for my skintone, so I stuck to my regular foundation, but everything else I used is from Essence.

All the products I used are pictured below and my total came to £10.64, which is great in my opinion because these days even buying just one mascara from a drugstore brand could cost you £10+, so being able to get six products for a little over that amount is amazing!
